Celebrating Easter

We enjoyed a busy but wonderful Easter!  Here are the kiddos all dressed up for the celebration :-)

Our youth group sponsors a breakfast before the worship service every year so Michael, along with the help of his mom, was at church bright and early to get the eggs started in the roasters.  With loads of youth and parents' assistance, the meal was a great success and super tasty, too!  It was an awesome way to start the morning.  We then enjoyed a glorious worship service - the kiddos sang with a whole bunch of other kids (wish I had a video of it but don't since I was up front helping) and Michael sang in a men's group, too.  All of the music was phenomenal and made for a wonderful time of worship!  After church, we headed out to dinner with much of the Levang crew (Grandpa, Grandma and 5 of the Bjorndahl's) for a tasty lunch.  Then it was out to the lake for an egg hunt.  The weather turned out to be much nicer than originally forecast, so we were able to be outside in the sunshine.
The Cousin Crew (missing Erik, Sylvie and Evan)
It was an awesome day of celebrating our risen Savior!!!

Thursday: One Week Ago Today...

we came home.  Bummer.  But because our flight was later in the day, before we left we were able to enjoy a few more fun hours at Kidani Village.  Z and I enjoyed some breakfast on the balcony one last time while everyone else was still sleeping.
I took a few photos of our home for the past 6 days.

 The Living Room and Kitchen
Our bedroom (Paks and Bepps had the master bedroom on the other side of the living room - it was a great set-up).
After enjoying a bit of a lazy morning, we headed off to the pool one last time.
At the start of our stay, Z thought this little slide was pretty great (and she still liked it in the end, too).
But about midway through our stay, she decided to try out the big slide that T, Pake and Daddy had been enjoying.  It started out somewhere up in these trees.

And it ended with a great big splash!

It was great to enjoy a little bit more time in the water.
But sadly, the time came for us to depart.

We headed back up to our room to get  changed, and these four guys came right in front of our balcony, almost as if to bid us farewell!

T posed with his new giraffe that he purchased as a souvenir and reminder of our trip - it was cool to get the real creatures in the background.

After a quick bite to eat, it was time to catch our Disney Express shuttle to the airport.
The drummer dude also bid us farewell,

and we were on our way.
Whew.  We had an awesome trip!  So many fun memories made!  It's been fun to relive it all over again.  Hope you enjoyed your trip, too!
